According to the State Grid, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the State Grid will accelerate the construction of pumped storage power stations, planning to start new construction with a pumped storage installed capacity of over 30 million kilowatts. By 2030, the installed capacity of pumped storage in operation and under construction will exceed 120 million kilowatts, providing more than 150 million kilowatts of power regulation capacity, an increase of over 70% compared to the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan, fully ensuring the efficient consumption of new energy.
