Image credit: Audi)</figcaption></figure><p>Audi has started pre-sales of the A6L e-tron in China, a mid to large-size luxury sedan aimed at boosting its electric vehicle (EV) sales in the world's largest auto market.</p><p>FAW-Audi, the German automaker's Chinese joint venture, announced four variants of the new model on Wednesday, with pre-sales prices ranging from 313,000 yuan ($45,340) to 443,000 yuan.</p><p>The new car is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS driver assistance system, which enables point-to-point navigate-on-autopilot (NOA) in urban areas and parking assistance in complex scenarios.</p>    <div>        <p><span>Join us on </span>            Telegram            <span> or </span>            Google News        </p>    </div><p>Built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture, the A6L e-tron is manufactured at the facility owned by Audi FAW NEV Co, Audi's first purpose-built plant for fully electric models in China.</p><p>The vehicle adopts an 800-volt high-voltage electrical architecture and features a large 107 kWh battery pack, giving it a comprehensive range of up to 815 kilometers.</p><p><img src="https://imageproxy.pbkrs.com/https://cnevpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/2026032514205452.jpg?x-oss-process=image/auto-orient,1/interlace,1/resize,w_1440,h_1440/quality,q_95/format,jpg" width="1600" height="900" original-src="https://imageproxy.pbkrs.com/https://cnevpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/2026032514205452.jpg"/></p><p>The sedan boasts a maximum charging power of 270 kW, allowing the battery to replenish 302 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes under ideal conditions.</p><p>The car features a long wheelbase of 3,076 millimeters and achieves a low drag coefficient of 0.22 through its streamlined design.</p><p>Inside the cabin, it is equipped with a massive 88-inch AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) and introduces second-generation electronic exterior mirrors to enhance driving safety at night or in severe weather.</p><p>To stimulate early demand, Audi is offering presale incentives valid until May 31, 2026. These include trade-in cash subsidies of up to 32,000 yuan.</p><p>The first-edition model, limited to 888 units, will also receive equipment upgrade perks worth 45,000 yuan, and buyers can enjoy zero-interest loan plans for up to two years.</p><p>The move follows FAW-Audi's launch of the Q6L e-tron family in August 2025.
