Thailand Reaches Agreement with Iran on Passage of its Oil Tankers Through Strait of Hormuz

Thai Prime Minister Anutin said on the 28th that to deal with the crisis of rising domestic oil prices in Thailand caused by the situation in the Middle East, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been actively communicating with relevant countries recently. According to the current agreement reached with Iran, Thai oil tankers can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Anutin explained the government's measures to cope with oil price fluctuations at a press conference held at the Government House that day. He said that the government will focus on promoting four aspects of work: diplomatic coordination, energy security, commodity price control, and the livelihoods of the people, and called on the public to jointly practice energy conservation measures to cope.
