They were followed by lenders ING Groep ( ING ) and Banco Santander (SAN), which increased 2.8% and 2.1%, respectively.The decliners from continental Europe were led by petroleum refiner Equinor ( EQNR ) and oil and gas company Eni (E), which lost 5.1% and 2.9%, respectively. They were followed by consumer goods company Unilever ( UL ) and pharmaceutical company Sanofi ( SNY ) , which dropped 2.3% and 0.4%, respectively.The gainers from the UK were led by biopharmaceutical companies Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) and Mereo BioPharma Group ( MREO ) , which rose 5.6% and 4%, respectively.
