Offshore Yuan Once Rose to 6.82
At the New York close on Wednesday (April 8) (04:59 Thursday Beijing time), the offshore yuan (CNH) was quoted at 6.8330 against the US dollar, up 224 points from Tuesday's New York close. The currency traded within an overall intraday range of 6.8563–6.8200. At 20:30, it approached the March 23, 2023 peak of 6.8105, the February 10, 2023 peak of 6.7898, and the January 16, 2023 peak of 6.6975.
Over the last four trading days, the offshore yuan has recorded a cumulative gain of approximately 580 points, or 0.84%.
