New Zealand construction firm Fletcher Building stated that due to severe volatility in energy markets triggered by the Middle East conflict, fuel costs (particularly diesel) remain its primary concern and have led to fuel-linked price increases across its business segments. The Auckland-headquartered building materials manufacturer said it is partially mitigating fuel price fluctuations, which serve as a core cost driver, through bulk purchasing, hedging, and price pass-through mechanisms.
