The Office for National Statistics (ONS) announced that the UK's trade deficit in tangible goods expanded to £18.791 billion in February, better than the market expectation of a deficit of £20.05 billion, with the previous deficit revised to £15.077 billion.

Considering the overall goods and services, the UK's recorded trade deficit in February was £0.72 billion, still better than the market expectation of a deficit of £1.3 billion, with the previous surplus revised down to £3.018 billion
