According to market news, the mainland beauty brand Mao Ge Ping (01318.HK) has recently leased the entire 26th floor of the Overseas Trust Bank Building at 160 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, with a construction area of approximately 7,344 square feet; based on the building's market value rental rate of HKD 20 per square foot, the monthly rent is expected to be nearly HKD 150,000.
Mao Ge Ping established its first counter in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, last October, becoming the first mainland beauty brand to open an independent counter in Hong Kong. Its founder, Mao Ge Ping, revealed at that time that a makeup school would be established in Hong Kong in April this year
