<p>JPMorgan reports that ether and altcoins have lagged behind bitcoin in price and institutional interest since the October 2025 deleveraging. While Ethereum upgrades may enhance scalability, previous updates did not significantly increase onchain activity. Other altcoins face challenges like weak liquidity and declining confidence due to past hacks and stagnant DeFi growth.</p>
