AIA Singapore targets 90% of illness claims

AIA Singapore has launched a new critical illness plan, AIA Protect 3, targeting cancer, heart attack, and stroke, which account for 90% of claims. Offered to existing policyholders and their families, it provides multi-stage coverage up to age 85. Policyholders can receive 25% cashback on premiums if no claims are made. This launch addresses a 74% protection gap in critical illness coverage amid rising healthcare costs and demand among residents aged 30 and above.
