I'm really surprised by OCBC's performance this year as it stages one of the bigger comebacks I have seen from a bank, to the extent that they are now not too far off from DBS. Not only did non interest income rose significantly, OCBC has also pledged to commit fully to its $2.5 Billion capital return by FY26. Who would have thought holding SG bank could generate better returns as compared to S&P500? 😅 Nonetheless, I would not go all in chasing the top right now. The market nowadays is too volatile and unwise to go all in. Rather, I will dca to give myself some space to fall back when the pullback eventually arrives.
