    "Profit Warning" JTF INTL estimates interim losses to expand to no more than 5.5 million RMB

    JTF INTL issued a profit warning, expecting a loss of no more than RMB 5.5 million for the six months ending in June, compared to a loss of RMB 750,000 in the same period last year. The increase in loss is mainly due to the group's suspension of the project to increase the berthing capacity of the oil depot in Zengcheng and the termination of the contract with the project's general contractor, resulting in the write-off of advance payments to the general contractor and construction assets totaling approximately RMB 5.94 million

    JTF INTL expects a loss attributable to owners of the company of approximately RMB 8 million to 10 million in 2024, a significant increase compared to the loss of RMB 1.509 million in 2023. The increase in loss is mainly due to the gross profit from port trade turning into a gross loss and a decline in gross profit margin, influenced by fluctuations in oil prices and a cautious market atmosphere. The group may sell inventory at prices below procurement costs to maintain market position, and part of the increase in loss will be offset by provisions for unconfirmed litigation losses and listing expenses
