HANOI, Jan 16 (Reuters) - A snapshot of Vietnamese dong exchange rates shows the USD/VND mid-point at 25,131, interbank rates at 26,271/26,274, and unofficial rates at 26,712/26,812. SJC gold prices are quoted at 160.8/162.8 million dong per tael. The State Bank of Vietnam sets the mid-point rate daily, allowing transactions to move within a +/- 5% band. Interbank offered rates are the latest indicative prices from market sources. One tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.21 troy ounces.

Indonesia reports 0.1% rise in foreign direct investment in 2025

JAKARTA, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Indonesia’s foreign direct investment last year reached 900.9 trillion rupiah ($53.4 billion), up 0.1% from the previous year, the investment ministry said on Thursday.FDI in the fourth quarter was 256.3 trillion rupiah, a 4.3% increase from the same period a year earlier, the first growth in three quarters and compared with a contraction of 8.9% in the previous three months.The data excludes investment in the financial and oil and gas sectors.
