Bookings increased by 1.5 times compared to normal levels, prompting operators like Shanghai Xinkong Helicopter to launch new routes. The company plans to expand to 45 routes in the Yangtze River Delta by 2030. A one-way flight from Shanghai to Nantong costs 698 yuan (US$101) and reduces travel time significantly. New routes are also emerging in Guangdong and Sichuan provinces, as China promotes its low-altitude economy, which includes aerial activities up to 1km above ground.
