$Palantir Tech(PLTR.US)
Context: Palantir climbed more than 5% yesterday to $185, hitting its highest level in nearly a month. The advance came as the software sector rallied broadly, sparked by Salesforce's earnings beat. Palantir's own fundamentals underpinned the rally. Second-quarter revenue surged 93% year-over-year to $1.94 billion, with US commercial revenue jumping 149%. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to $8.15 billion to $8.16 billion, posting a 55% net profit margin.
My Trade: Perhaps I sold a tad bit too early right after earnings? Nevertheless, it was still some little nice profits from its low of $120.
Takeaway: Don't count out the software sector just yet. Rotation is bound to happen sooner or later, and some are already rotating their capital back into the software sector after taking profits from elsewhere. @Captain's Treasure
