What the Feds say in their minutes prior to the labour data last week will show how hawkish or actually dovish they are. I believe the markets will be reading them to look at their possible moves.

The Feds will release their minutes tonight and that makes the markets’ direction a teeny weeny tricky. Those minutes reflect what they thought prior to the labour data. So a dovish one might encourage the bulls. However the markets look leggy here and are due a pullback.

S&P/Nasdaq records again but Seagate -9.2% drop shows memory can’t go up forever after 224% run. SpaceX $40B debt to buy Nvidia chips is bullish Nvidia but bearish for leverage. Nuclear double digit rip is crowded. STI giving back Tuesday gains with OCBC -4% signals local banks topping short-term.

SpaceX's surge highlights growing appetite for foundational AI and satellite infrastructure despite multi-decade high Treasury yields. While rich valuations and elevated interest rates increase short-term drawdown risk, SpaceX’s unique intersection of orbital scale and network connectivity positions it as a long-term strategic core, rendering dip-buying attractive for patient capital.

Is SpaceX Worth It Or Overpriced?

Morgan Stanley maintains a roaring USD 300 price target, citing a narrow window of opportunity for retail investors to buy before major catalysts land:

Starship Flight 15: Scheduled for late October or early November. If the launch pad successfully catches the upper stage of the largest rocket ever built, it will be the single largest positive catalyst since SpaceX IPO.

Q3 Earnings: Expected in late October, it will shine a light on the high margin revenue being unlocked by the Starlink network.

    My Take

If you are looking for defensive stability, it is best to sit on the sidelines. But if you have a multi year horizon and want a piece of pure growth cosmic infrastructure that doubles as an AI play, SpaceX remains a high conviction addition to your portfolio before the next flight clears the tower.

Which side are you on: Defensive or Offensive on SpaceX?

SpaceX in my opinion is a big risk medium reward type of stock. Couple of red flags here: Just IPO not long ago without proving sustainability and profitability, too much hype from the rich etc. Swing trades could be done for those experiences traders but a no no for me
