It is remarkable how hard people work to lose money. They find a rare, compounding monopoly and then sell it just because the chart looks "high."

That is an unforced error. The math here is elementary: finding a business this dominant happens maybe twice in a lifetime. The smartest thing to do isn't to trade around it, but to recognize that you won't find a better opportunity elsewhere.

I simply refuse to interrupt the compounding just to feel active.
