Absolutely unholy report from GS:

"A 10x larger value market for pluggable optical modules". From GB300 NVL72 (2025-2026) to Rubin Ultra NVL576 (H2 2027, 2028)....

$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI.US), $Lumentum(LITE.US), Innolight, and others are extreme beneficiaries.

The absolutely unholy, sheer number of pluggable optical modules required surges from 216 units in the GB300 to roughly 2.5K units in Rubin Ultra.

CPO is the core driver of photonics expansion... but for pluggables, this amount of units required will likely cause extreme shortages within the next two hardware cycles.

It just becomes a game of "how much you can produce" rather than can you sell it.
