US stocks rose for a third straight day after the Fed held rates at 3.75%–4%. Two officials voted for a hike. The S&P 500 gained 0.28%, the Nasdaq 0.27% and the Dow 0.19%. Vertiv jumped 17% on strong AI data-centre orders, while Enphase sank 17% on weak solar demand. After hours, Microsoft rose on an earnings beat and 48% Azure growth. Alphabet fell about 9–11% on a revenue miss and negative free cash flow.
