【True Insight Hong Kong Market Trends】YTO Express International (06123.HK) releases interim results, continues to accelerate global expansion

On August 21, $YTO INTL EXP(06123.HK) announced its interim results for 2025. For the six months ended June 30, 2025, the company achieved business revenue of HKD 1.41 billion and a gross profit of approximately HKD 88.72 million. Facing macroeconomic challenges, YTO Express International delivered a mid-year report that reflects strategic resilience and long-term vision. Despite short-term performance pressure, YTO Express International is actively optimizing its business structure, building core capabilities, and expanding its global network. In the future, it will continue to deepen its international strategic layout and steadily advance its mission of "Connecting China with the World, Connecting the World with the World."
Data shows that YTO Express International reported a net loss, mainly due to three factors. First, external factors such as tariff policy changes in some major economies have posed temporary challenges to cross-border trade and logistics. Second, YTO Express International is focusing on building global core capabilities, resolutely optimizing its business structure, and strategically scaling back some non-core businesses with lower profit margins and longer capital cycles, concentrating resources on core areas such as international express delivery, international freight, and supply chain. Third, the company is investing in building logistics hubs in strategically important regions, continuously increasing the recruitment and training of international talent, enhancing control over core logistics infrastructure and resources, and comprehensively driving the transformation and upgrading from digitalization to intelligence, strengthening technology-driven innovation. These investments will translate into long-term improvements in operational efficiency and service quality, achieving higher quality and efficiency.
2025 marks the beginning of YTO's "Comprehensive Internationalization" strategy. YTO Express International is steadily advancing its "1+7" global express network layout, centered on Jiaxing's "Oriental Sky Port" and coordinated with seven overseas regional hubs, aiming to build a safe, smooth, efficient, sustainable, and independently controllable global logistics and supply chain system.
Led by technology, YTO Express International is also continuously advancing the application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence to empower business operations comprehensively and enhance core competitiveness. By actively capitalizing on the long-term positive trend of China's foreign trade exports and keeping pace with the overseas expansion of Chinese products, production capacity, and brands, YTO Express International is vigorously expanding into emerging markets such as Central Asia and the Middle East, optimizing its eight product systems, including international express delivery, international freight, and international supply chain, enriching its overseas customer base, extending service chains, and improving comprehensive service capabilities.
Recently, YTO Thailand officially signed an international logistics and supply chain service cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. Thailand. This collaboration marks YTO's deep integration into the "Belt and Road" initiative, providing solid support for the overseas expansion of Chinese manufacturing with end-to-end, intelligent international logistics solutions.
In June, YTO Express International reached a cross-border supply chain service agreement with Xiaomi Group, providing end-to-end logistics services for the export of electronic components to South Asia. YTO Express International has created an efficient "air logistics corridor" for Xiaomi. After leaving Xiaomi's factory, components can be consolidated within 12 hours through YTO's strong cargo collection network in South China, and then delivered directly from domestic factories to end users in South Asia within 72 hours via YTO's own and partner aviation networks.
In the first half of this year, YTO also officially upgraded its overseas warehouse services in regions such as South Korea. Currently, the total storage area of four overseas warehouses in South Korea exceeds 10,000 square meters, with a peak daily processing capacity of over 10,000 orders, enabling next-day delivery to major regions in South Korea. Relying on the full-chain solution of "warehousing + order processing + local delivery + local after-sales," YTO empowers Chinese sellers to achieve operational efficiency on par with local South Korean merchants.
Following the "Belt and Road" initiative, following Chinese businesses and overseas Chinese, and following cross-border e-commerce, YTO Express International will continue to deepen its global layout. Through a clear internationalization strategy, comprehensive supply chain capabilities, and continuously improving logistics service quality, it will contribute more to helping Chinese companies go global and serving the prosperity of global trade.
