1. $XIAOMI-W(01810.HK)
On the evening of Feb 10 in Beijing Yizhuang, Lei Jun live-streamed from Xiaomi's auto plant and announced the final first-gen SU7 rolled off the line and began shipment, marking the model’s production end after nearly 370k cumulative deliveries. The line is being retooled for the next-gen SU7 launching in Apr.
The first-gen wrap-up validates Xiaomi Auto’s mass-production capability and market acceptance, and the capacity switch paves the way for the new model’s ramp. Near term, this should lift order conversion and brand perception, with Xiaomi up over 4% today.
2. $Netflix(NFLX.US)
Paramount (PARA) sweetened terms in its hostile bid, committing to cover a $2.8bn Netflix termination fee, provide a $1.5bn debt refi guarantee, and add a $0.25/sh quarterly ticking fee to enhance deal certainty and shareholder protection. Richer terms increase the bid’s appeal and lower break risk, as it vies for control of Warner Bros. Discovery.
3. $BABA-W(09988.HK)
Alibaba DAMO Academy unveiled the RynnBrain embodied-intelligence model with spatiotemporal memory and physical reasoning, and open-sourced seven models that top several international benchmarks. It fills the robot’s 'thinking brain' and should accelerate embodied AI deployment across industrial and home robots.
The tech moat strengthens, benefiting the AI robotics supply chain and driving a shift from execution to autonomous decision-making across the industry.
4. $Microsoft(MSFT.US)
Microsoft said it is exploring high-temperature superconducting (HTS) tech for data center power delivery to cut transmission loss via zero resistance, boost power density, and shrink cable size. Pilots are expected to roll out progressively, targeting power bottlenecks and energy consumption pressures from the AI compute surge.
If implemented, this could reshape power architectures and materially lower cost while improving efficiency. It would also open commercialization pathways for HTS.
