I heard a female boss's remarks today, and it really woke me up😑

She said, even if a woman is sleeping in the same bed with you, a man must never reveal all his cards.

I was drinking with a friend in construction recently, and he's pretty much finished now.

Back when he was in love and his brain was hot, he handed over everything to the woman—his family assets, account books, along with a pile of bad debts.

Now they've fallen out, and she's using these "exhibits for the court," almost getting him sent away.

This reminded me of a casual chat with a boss.

He's seen countless people, and his exact words were: "Even if a man is under the covers with a woman, he has to keep his cards close to his chest."

I don't think we can really blame anyone for being ruthless in this.

Men and women are simply not on the same wavelength when it comes to handling a breakup.

When men break up, at most they'll have a drink, curse a bit, and then it's over.

Once a woman is determined to turn hostile, she will absolutely use a magnifying glass to find your Achilles' heel.

The knives you handed over to show your loyalty back then are now all stabbing your own arteries.

The better someone knows you, the darker their moves are when things turn sour.

A sincere piece of advice: Don't be a "transparent person" in a relationship. Revealing everything is handing over a knife. Deep affection ≠ laying everything bare. Keeping some cards isn't about distrust; it's about leaving yourself an airbag for life!
