
High temperatures "scorch" and heat up three major tracks; high temperature concept stocks have outperformed the market overall since June
Recently, the Central Meteorological Administration has continuously issued yellow warnings for high temperatures, leading to increased demand for electricity, coal, refrigeration, and sun protection. In the A-share market, companies in the three major sectors of electricity, refrigerants, and sun protection have also been significantly favored. According to data from Data Treasure, there are a total of 126 companies related to the electricity, refrigeration, and sun protection sectors in the A-share market. Since June of this year, the average stock price increase of these 126 companies has reached 4.49%, exceeding the Shanghai Composite Index's increase of 3.73% during the same period. Among them, the average stock price increase for electricity companies is 4.25%, for refrigeration companies is 4.93%, and for sun protection companies is nearly 7%. According to Data Treasure, among the aforementioned high-temperature concept stocks, there are 16 stocks whose number of shareholders has decreased compared to the end of the first quarter, mainly consisting of electricity stocks.
