August 8th Midday Review: ChiNext Index rose 0.21% in half a day, and the Yajiang Hydropower concept collectively strengthened

The market opened lower in the morning but rose throughout the day, with the three major indices experiencing slight increases. The Yajiang hydropower concept saw a collective surge, with stocks like Shanhe Intelligent and Xinjiang Communications Construction hitting the daily limit. The commercial aerospace concept also rose, with Shanghai Huguang and Tongyu Communication reaching the limit. The medical device sector was active during the session, with SINOMED and GMF hitting the daily limit. On the downside, the AI agent concept adjusted, with Jinxiandai and Dingjie Smart falling over 10%. Individual stocks continued to see more declines than gains, with over 3,000 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the red, and a total turnover of 1.09 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.07%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.14%, and the ChiNext rose by 0.21%
