NATURE ENERGY T issued a profit warning, expecting a mid-term net loss of no more than 25 million yuan for the period ending June 30, 2025, an increase from the loss of 15.07 million yuan in the same period of 2024. The reasons for the loss include a decline in short-term demand for energy storage business due to power market reforms and policy adjustments, as well as intensified market competition affecting the sales gross margin of pitch control systems
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, NATURE ENERGY T (01597) announced that the group expects to record a net loss of no more than approximately RMB 25 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025, while the net loss for the six months ending June 30, 2024, was approximately RMB 15.07 million.
The main reasons for the group's mid-2025 loss are (i) the energy storage business being affected by power market reforms and mandatory energy storage policy adjustments, leading to a decline in short-term market demand and resulting in losses; and (ii) intensified market competition causing a decrease in the gross profit of the group's pitch control system sales
