Sopo released its semi-annual performance for 2025, with revenue of 3.158 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.08%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 102 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.01%; and net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses was 101 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.02%. The main product acetic acid saw new production capacity, intensified competition, and price declines; the price of the main raw material coal decreased. Domestic caustic soda downstream demand decreased, the liquid chlorine market was sluggish, and sulfuric acid prices rose overall
