According to Zhitong Finance APP, on August 20, 2025, Central New Energy Holdings Group Limited (01735) officially signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Oman EGN LTD. Both parties will adhere to the principles of "equality and mutual benefit, industrial connection, and collaborative development" to jointly invest in the development and construction of photovoltaic power station projects, establish photovoltaic module production capacity, and create a new model for the integration of green energy and digital economy, achieving common development and mutual benefit.

EGN LTD was established in 2009 and, as a leading global data center enterprise, has gradually expanded from the energy engineering field to the forefront of blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure, currently operating over 10 large data centers in the United States, Latin America, and Asia. The company is committed to combining its long-term, stable electricity demand with green energy to promote the upgrading of regional energy structures. It has already launched multiple data center projects in Oman, receiving high recognition and support from the Omani government and institutions. EGN is committed to deeply cultivating in Oman, leveraging the green energy value chain to collaborate with global partners to jointly create a regional zero-carbon demonstration industrial cluster.
