KDL: Changing the Malaysia project to a Thailand project

KDL announced that the company will hold the 22nd meeting of the fifth board of directors on August 28, 2025, to review and approve the proposal to change the Malaysia lithium battery precision components project to the Thailand new energy lithium battery precision components project. The originally planned investment of no more than 600 million RMB for the Malaysia project will be canceled, replaced by a project in Thailand with a total investment of no more than 210 million RMB. The new project will be implemented by KDL Thailand, which will be jointly funded by the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary KDL Hungary LLC, with the company holding an 80% stake. The project is expected to have a construction period of approximately 24 months, and once fully operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of about 480 million RMB. This move aims to optimize resource allocation, enhance investment efficiency, better seize regional development opportunities, and align with the company's long-term strategic goal of globalization
