On September 9th, SMIC and CGEE disclosed their plans for issuing shares to purchase assets and resumed trading, becoming the latest case of share issuance for asset acquisition on the STAR Market. Currently, against the backdrop of continuous policy dividends and accelerated market vitality, mergers and acquisitions among STAR Market companies are ushering in a new wave of enthusiasm. As of September 9th, there have been 73 newly disclosed merger and acquisition transactions on the STAR Market since 2025, including 24 cases of share issuance or convertible bonds and 7 significant cash transactions, helping listed companies enter the "fast lane" of high-quality development.
