SEWPG's first ultra-high temperature sandstorm-resistant unit has rolled off the production line

According to Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group, the EW9.6-200 ultra-high temperature sand-dust wind turbine, designed specifically for the Middle Eastern environment, successfully completed its first offline unit at the Dongtai base of Electric Wind Power. The EW9.6-200 unit is designed for extreme environments with ultra-high temperature and sand-dust, capable of operating at an ambient temperature of 45°C. Key components such as the drive chain, inverter, and transformer have significantly improved insulation and material grades, ensuring reliable operation at cabin temperatures, with some electrical components supporting continuous operation at higher temperatures
