At the advanced energy and new materials industry matchmaking conference jointly hosted by Chengdu Industrial Investment Group and others, Feng Siyao, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, pointed out: "As of the end of August, China's new energy storage installed capacity has exceeded 104GW, and new energy storage power stations are showing a trend of centralization and large-scale development. In the next three years, the leading concentration effect of the energy storage industry will be significant, with diversified application scenarios and gradually improving business models." She cited the "Special Action Plan for the Large-Scale Construction of New Energy Storage" recently jointly issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Administration, stating that by 2027, the national new energy storage installed capacity will reach over 180GW, which will drive direct project investment of about 250 billion yuan
