According to the announcement from PRET (002324.SZ), the company fully leverages the geographical advantages of Neijiang, located in the heart of the Chengdu-Chongqing region, and deeply integrates the comprehensive advantages of Neijiang City in terms of talent aggregation, special policy support, and regional radiation capabilities. It plans to establish a 6GWh sodium-ion battery production base in the Neijiang Economic Development Zone.
The total investment for the project is approximately RMB 800 million, with plans to build a production line for 46 series large cylindrical sodium batteries and a production line for ultra-large square or other types of sodium batteries, creating a demonstration production base for the large-scale and industrialized production of sodium-ion batteries with cost leadership and advanced technology.
