On the 7th, reporters learned from the Guangzhou Port Authority that from the 1st to the 6th, Guangzhou Port completed a cargo throughput of 8.989 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%; container throughput reached 396,000 TEU, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. In response to the rising demand for automobile consumption during the holiday season, Guangzhou Port focused on ensuring smooth roll-on/roll-off vehicle transportation channels. During this year's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period, a total of 13 roll-on/roll-off ships docked at the Nansha Port in Guangzhou to transport automobiles for export, with approximately 11,000 vehicles set to be exported, setting a historical high for the same period, of which 30% are new energy vehicles
