SKYLIGHT HLDG has signed cooperation contracts with multiple delivery platforms
SKYLIGHT HLDG (03882.HK) announced that the group will enter into cooperation contracts with multiple delivery platforms (i.e., online supermarkets and large physical supermarkets with online platforms). According to these contracts, the delivery platforms will allocate part of their instant retail delivery business in certain regions of China to the group concerning the group's electric delivery vehicles and parts.
The group will also procure electric delivery vehicles and parts from time to time based on the estimated number of outlets and riders allocated to the group by the delivery platforms under the cooperation contracts signed with each delivery platform.
The group will be authorized to use the online platform, which will be developed and customized by an independent software development company. The company will not own the platform. This platform is designed to support the operation of the group's instant delivery system services and to add key functionalities for the group and riders. For the group, these functionalities include (i) AI scheduling for electric delivery vehicles; (ii) tracking of electric delivery vehicle routes; (iii) energy consumption and lifecycle management of new energy batteries; (iv) rider behavior analysis; (v) electronic anti-theft fencing; (vi) resource management and allocation of electric delivery vehicles and parts; and (vii) payment for riders or one-time purchase prices of electric delivery vehicles and parts.
The group stated that the main goal is to capture market share in China's emerging "blue ocean" market for instant retail delivery services while establishing long-term business relationships with delivery platforms.
The group further indicated that it will be authorized to use the online platform established and customized by an independent software development company using the group's intelligent management software to operate the group's instant delivery system services
