Intellifusion's Luo Yi: The proportion of domestic computing power chips will soon exceed that of overseas chips
At the 2025 Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem Expo held from October 15 to October 17, Luo Yi, Vice President of Intellifusion, stated that the domestic AI industry is currently facing two major turning points: first, the explosive demand for computing power, where the demand for inference computing power of large models will surpass training demand by 2026, becoming the main force in computing power consumption, accounting for more than 70% of all computing power demand. At the same time, the domestic AI industry is shifting from model research and development to "computing power consumption." Second, the usage ratio of domestic computing power chips will soon exceed that of overseas chips. "Currently, the usage ratio of both is basically at fifty-fifty."
