Guangxi launches the first sea-rail intermodal train from Vietnam's Dong Nai Port to Xinjiang for alumina and iron

On the afternoon of October 15th, a rail-sea intermodal train loaded with 3,000 tons of Vietnamese alumina departed from Fangchenggang Station in Guangxi, heading north along the Western Land-Sea New Corridor towards Shihezi, Xinjiang. This is the first rail-sea intermodal train from Dong Nai Port in Vietnam to Xinjiang launched by Guangxi, opening a fast logistics channel between Southeast Asia and the energy industry base in Xinjiang via Beibu Gulf Port, providing strong transportation support for promoting domestic and international dual circulation and reducing logistics costs for enterprises
