BJP: In the first three quarters of 2025, power generation decreased by 3.02% year-on-year

BJP announced that the total power generation in the first three quarters of 2025 reached 71.675 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 3.02%. Among them, thermal power generation totaled 68.57 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 5.98%; renewable energy generation totaled 3.105 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 220.06%. The total on-grid electricity reached 66.469 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 2.91%, of which thermal power on-grid electricity totaled 63.421 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 6.05%; renewable energy on-grid electricity totaled 3.048 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 219.53%
