On October 18th, GEM stated on the interactive platform that at the cobalt resource end, the company has strengthened the autonomy and controllability of cobalt resources through the "urban mining + Indonesian mineral resources" strategy. The cobalt recovery volume in 2024 is expected to reach 10,128 tons, exceeding 350% of China's raw cobalt mining volume; at the same time, the company's Indonesian nickel smelting project has a by-product cobalt resource annual production capacity of approximately 12,000 metal tons.
