
China Automobile Dealers Association: From January to September, the cumulative retail sales of new energy commercial vehicles reached 597,200 units, a year-on-year increase of 57.17%

According to data from the China Automobile Dealers Association, the cumulative retail sales of new energy commercial vehicles from January to September 2025 reached 597,200 units, a year-on-year increase of 57.17%. Among them, the retail sales in September were 94,400 units, a year-on-year increase of 73.01%. Pure electric commercial vehicles accounted for 97.08% of the sales, with new energy trucks and buses selling 54,800 units and 39,500 units, respectively. The sales share of the top 5 enterprises accounted for 37.35%
According to data provided by the Commercial Vehicle Professional Committee of the China Automobile Dealers Association, the retail sales of new energy commercial vehicles in September 2025 reached 94,400 units, a year-on-year increase of 73.01% and a month-on-month increase of 28.56%. Among them, 97.08% of the sales came from pure electric commercial vehicles, with sales reaching 91,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 73.94%.

In terms of type, the sales of new energy trucks were 54,800 units, accounting for 58.12%, with a year-on-year increase of 95.52% and a month-on-month increase of 16.03%; the sales of new energy buses were 39,500 units, accounting for 41.88%, with a year-on-year increase of 49.18% and a month-on-month increase of 51.22%.

From the perspective of enterprise/brand performance, the top 5 enterprises/brands accounted for 37.35% of sales, namely Geely Yuanchen, Foton Motor, SAIC-GM-Wuling, XCMG, and FAW Jiefang.

From January to September 2025, the cumulative retail sales of new energy commercial vehicles reached 597,200 units, a year-on-year increase of 57.17%. Among them, 96.60% of the sales came from pure electric commercial vehicles, with sales reaching 576,900 units, a year-on-year increase of 58.09%.

In terms of type, the cumulative sales of new energy trucks were 371,900 units, accounting for 62.28%, with a year-on-year increase of 96.66%; the cumulative sales of new energy buses were 225,300 units, accounting for 37.72%, with a year-on-year increase of 18.04%.

From the perspective of enterprise/brand performance, the cumulative sales of the top 5 enterprises/brands from January to September accounted for 37.54%, namely Geely Yuanchen, Foton Motor, SAIC-GM-Wuling, XCMG, and Kaiyi Automobile
