January 15th Midday Review: ChiNext Index Drops Over 1% in Half a Day, Commercial Aerospace and AI Applications Retreat Collectively

The market opened lower in the morning and then rebounded, but subsequently weakened again, with the ChiNext Index down over 1%. The precious metals sector strengthened, with Sichuan Gold hitting the daily limit. The non-ferrous sector rose against the trend, with Huludao Zinc and Luoping Zinc Electric hitting the daily limit. Lithium battery stocks performed actively, with Lingpai Technology and Xianhui Technology rising over 10%. On the downside, the commercial aerospace concept adjusted again, with multiple stocks such as China Satellite and Aerospace Electronics hitting the daily limit; AI application stocks collectively retreated, with ZhiDeMai and Shengguang Group hitting the daily limit. Most individual stocks fell rather than rose, with about 3,700 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing losses, and a total transaction volume of 1.9 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.6%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.44%, and the ChiNext Index fell 1.02%
