Multiple banks raise deposit interest rates
According to China Securities Journal, "Currently, new funds are being deposited in three-year fixed deposits with interest rates reaching 1.95%. This just started a few days ago, an increase of about 10 basis points compared to before." A wealth management manager at a Bank of Ningbo branch in Beijing introduced to reporters. Recently, reporters visited and called several banks and learned that as the Spring Festival approaches, many banks have launched special deposit and large-denomination certificate of deposit products, and have temporarily raised deposit interest rates.
