The yield on two-year UK government bonds fell by more than 1 basis point

On Thursday (February 19), in the European market's late trading session, the yield on the UK 10-year government bond fell by 0.5 basis points to 4.369%. After opening high, it continued to fluctuate at a high level, reaching a daily high of 4.398% at 19:08 Beijing time, before gradually giving back its gains.

The yield on the 2-year UK bond fell by 1.2 basis points to 3.571%, with volatility relatively lower than that of the 10-year UK bond.

The yield on the 30-year UK bond rose by 0.6 basis points, while the yield on the 50-year UK bond remained unchanged.

The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year UK bonds increased by 0.751 basis points to +79.630 basis points, reaching a daily high of +81.938 basis points at 20:10
