WAI CHUN GROUP's WAI CHUN BIOTEC has appealed the court ruling
WAI CHUN GROUP (01013.HK) announced that on February 23, the company received a judgment from the High Court of Hong Kong regarding the case against the company and WAI CHUN BIOTEC (00660.HK), ordering both the company and WAI CHUN BIOTEC to pay HKD 2.67 million plus interest, as well as legal costs. Both companies believe the plaintiff's claim amount is excessive and have submitted a notice of appeal to the High Court.
The amount involved is 50% of the total intermediate income, rent, rates, management fees, and air conditioning fees for all properties located on the 13th floor of the Two Harbourfront Centre in Hong Kong from September 2022 to April 2023
