In the fourth quarter of last year, the average room rate of hotels in the Greater China region increased by approximately 6.1% year-on-year

Great Hotel (00045.HK) announced that in the fourth quarter of last year, the average revenue per available room in the Greater China region was HKD 3,428, an increase of approximately 16.7% year-on-year. The average room rate was HKD 4,524, an increase of approximately 6.1% year-on-year. The occupancy rate was 76%, an increase of 7 percentage points year-on-year.

In terms of rental properties, the average monthly rent per square foot for residential and shopping mall properties during the period was HKD 48 and HKD 135, respectively, representing year-on-year increases of 4.3% and 0.7%. The average monthly rent per square foot for office buildings was HKD 65, a year-on-year decrease of 1.5%. The occupancy rates were 95%, 90%, and 76%, remaining flat year-on-year, increasing by 2 percentage points, and decreasing by 9 percentage points, respectively
