
"Iran War Escalation" European Stock Markets Drop 2%
Due to attacks on energy infrastructure in Iran and Qatar, the war in Iran has escalated further, leading to a significant drop in European stock markets on Thursday. The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 2.1%.
The UK FTSE 100 index dropped 249 points or 2.4%, closing at 10,055 points.
The German DAX index fell 558 points or 2.4%, closing at 22,940 points.
The French CAC 40 index dropped 149 points or 1.9%, closing at 7,822 points
