According to reports, Nio is actively engaging with leading automotive companies and is also planning low-end chips
According to reports from domestic media, Nio (09866.HK) subsidiary Shenqi has successfully taped out the chip "M97" in collaboration with AXERA (00600.HK), and Shenqi and AXERA are actively reaching out to leading automakers such as Leapmotor (09863.HK) and Geely (00175.HK).
In addition, the news indicates that Nio's Shenqi and AXERA are also planning low-end chips.
Nio has not yet responded.
Nio's founder and chairman Li Bin has stated that the performance of Shenqi NX9031 is equivalent to four NVIDIA (NVDA.US) Orin-X chips. He also hopes that Nio's self-developed high-performance inference chip can provide more opportunities for cooperation partners, including those in the automotive industry and the embodied intelligence sector. As for Shenqi's second advanced intelligent chip aimed at a broader customer base, it has successfully taped out and is currently in the mass production process
