Recent on-site research has revealed that photovoltaic module prices have seen a significant increase. Leading manufacturers such as Jinko Solar, LONGi, Trina Solar, and JA Solar have successively raised their product quotations. The percentage gains of mainstream module prices compared to previous lows have generally reached 15% to 20%, with percentage gains for some high-power products reaching 50%. In response, Zheng Tianhong, a photovoltaic module analyst at Shanghai Metals Market, analyzed that this round of module price increases is the combined result of rigid cost increases and policy window catalysis, with the soaring silver price being the core underlying reason and the adjustment of export tax rebate policies being an important trigger. According to an announcement released by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, VAT export tax rebates for products such as photovoltaics will be canceled starting from April 1, 2026.
