CPCA: April Auto Market Production and Sales Expected to Continue Previous Slow Recovery Trend
The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) released its outlook for the national passenger car market in April: This April has 21 working days, one day less than the 22 working days in April 2025. It is expected that vehicle production and sales will continue their previous trend of slow recovery. 2026 marks the start of the gradual phasing out of support policies for new energy vehicles, and the pressure on growth was already evident in the first quarter. However, with the joint promotion of national consumption stimulus policies and corresponding policies from various provinces and cities, offline auto show events will fully revitalize market sentiment and accelerate the gathering of popularity.
