HK Stock Market Close: Hang Seng TECH Index Rises 3.67%, SIGENERGY Surges Over 100% on Listing Day
The HK stock market opened high and continued to rise today, with the Hang Seng Index closing up 1.72% and the Hang Seng TECH Index gaining 3.67%. Tech and internet stocks rose collectively; Baidu climbed over 7%, Alibaba gained more than 5%; CATL rose 9%, with Q1 revenue growing 52% year-on-year to a record high and net profit increasing by 48%. SIGENERGY surged over 103% on its first day of listing, reaching a total market capitalization exceeding 160 billion HKD.
