
Institution: 80% of domestic fiber optic monthly output is exported

CITIC Construction Investment Securities released a research report stating that in February, China's fiber optic exports reached 3,779.9 tons, with a value of 790 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 63.6%. Currently, 80% of the domestic fiber optic monthly output has been exported, and the proportion of operator procurement has significantly decreased. The collective procurement results from Guangdong Telecom and Guangxi Telecom show that the winning bid price for G.652D-24 core optical cables has increased by over 250%. It is expected that global fiber optic demand will grow by 4.1% by 2025, with fiber optic prices reaching 83.4 yuan/core kilometer in March 2026, an increase of over 400%
